Mr. Hot Potato - Scripture Mastery Game
Submitted by Anonymous on Wed, 09/01/2010 - 4:17pmMy kids are excitedly preparing for Scripture Mastery Day at the stake center at the end of the year. Thus meet Mr. Potato Head. He's fast become one of their friends in this process.
Here's how he has helped us this year when we've come to Fridays and are playing scripture mastery games.
1. One of the students will squeeze his tummy, to start the silly song he plays. One by one, the kids will pass him around the room.
2. When Mr. Potato finally squeals "Hot Potato", the person holding him then gets to flip through the scripture mastery cards and select a scripture to test the rest of the group. Read more »

What is Mormon Share?
Mormon Share is the place where amazing LDS lessons and activities are born! Use our thousands of user-submitted LDS clipart images, printable handouts, object lessons, and activity ideas to make your calling easier.
Since 2003 Mormon Share has been dedicated to helping LDS teachers and leaders prepare their lessons quickly and more efficiently! Thanks to a site upgrade, our content is now so flexible that no matter how LDS lesson manuals are updated over the next few years, you can still turn to Mormon Share and find LDS lesson planning help for Primary, Young Women, Relief Society, LDS Seminary, Young Men and Family Home Evening lessons.
Why Mormon Share?
You've got a computer or file cabinet full of great ideas you've collected over the years from past callings, right? So did we! Back in 2003, our founder Jenny Smith decided to share handouts she created for her Beehive class online. The demand was astounding, and so Jenny began posting activity ideas and object lessons she'd collected. Users have also shared their ideas, and now we have an enormous library of LDS clipart, object lessons, lesson tips, activity ideas, and articles for your Primary, Young Women, Relief Society, LDS Seminary, Young Men and Family Home Evening lessons.
LDS Clipart
Our massive collection of LDS Clipart and Handouts keeps on growing thanks to our thousands of daily visitors. This is the largest collection of LDS clipart and printables available anywhere -- and it's totally free!
All LDS clipart files are categorized by auxiliary and by keywords. Our handouts are even cross-referenced with our LDS Young Women's lesson helps and Sharing Time Lessons.
Fantastic LDS Activity Ideas
We've organized hundreds of tried and true LDS activity ideas (including Camp and Scouts) by auxiliary to make it easy for you to get inspiration for ward, youth, Primary, or other activities. We also list our LDS activities by keyword for those of you who need lists by theme or other topic. Awesome!
LDS Object Lessons
User submissions make up the bulk of our LDS Object Lessons collection. Seminary and Sunday School teachers love the keyword search. Our object lessons are tagged and automatically appear in corresponding LDS Young Women's lesson helps and Sharing Time Lessons, helping you spice up your lessons more easily.
Primary Talks
We created the first ever database of free Primary talks to make your Sundays go more smoothly. Parents love our talks, and Primary leaders print our talks and keep them close in case of emergency.
Sharing Time Lesson
We are working on the first ever database indexing the Sharing Time Lessons found in The Friend magazine. Now that the Church isn't publishing sharing time ideas in The Friend any more, you can find great ideas for LDS Primary by topic or theme. These lessons are great for Sharing time (of course), Family Home Evening, or they can be expanded to make a Quarterly Primary Activity.
