This is such a cute and inexpensive idea!

Items Needed
2x2 wood- I have found 8 foot long pieces of 2x2 wood at Home Depot for less than $4.00
small picture of Christ - I got mine for $.10 at Deseret Book
Vinyl- $2.00 at SayItOnTheWall.com
8x8 Sheet metal – can find for between $1.00-$2.50

Directions
Cut your wood into 8 inch lengths.
Using a table saw, saw a slit into the top of your wood.
Paint or stain wood and let dry.
Apply your vinyl.
Place sheet metal in your slit.

Total price of project: $3.60

I've been looking everywhere to purchase magnetic slabs for crafts like the one you used above. You say you can get them for between $1-$2.50? Where can I find them? I've scoured the internet and had no luck! Thanks for any leads:)

Magnetic sheets you can print on your computers printer can be obtained at Walmart. They are 8 1/2" X 11" sheets. Is this what you are looking for?
