Christmas Service Project for injured members of US Armed Forces
I saw this post on Facebook today, and am sharing it here so you all can see it, too.
When doing your Christmas cards, take one and send it to this address:
A Recovering American Soldier c/o
Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue NW
Washington, D.C.
20307
USA.
I think this would make a great family home evening or easy Christmas service project.

#1 There are other locations
There are other locations where wounded servicemembers go besides at Walter Reed. All of the burn patients and most of the amputees get sent to Brooke Army Medical Center address below. There is also a Center for the Intrepid where these folks get rehabilitation and physical therapy to learn how to live with their disabilities. They are both fantastic facilities.
