M'Shelle D has shared this document that has ideas for helping Parents encourage and support their daughters with their Personal Progress.

This would make a nice insertion into a Welcome Packet for Beehives, too!

10 Easy Ways to Help Your Daughter in
Personal Progress

1. Read through the personal Progress Book and become familiar with Young Women’s Values, Standards of Personal Worthiness, and Value Experiences.

2. At least once a month (maybe Fast Sunday) sit down with your daughter and review her Personal Progress Book.

3. Encourage your daughter to find a special place to store her book.

4. At Family Home Evening, ask if there is any area she could be assisted in. Family involvement can be fun and rewarding.

5. Focus yourself upon developing a personal relationship with Christ, so that you can better help your daughter spiritually.

6. Sign her value experiences before she takes it to her young women leaders.

7. Show her you value her progress by coming to Young Women Recognition Nights to recognize and support her and other young women receive awards.

8. Encourage and praise her individual accomplishments.

9. Attend New Beginnings, Young Women in Excellence, and other parent/child activities with your daughter.

10. Encourage her to attend Young Women activities and Sunday lessons. Help her to adjust her schedule to fit in time for her spiritual growth.

Remember: If it is important to you, it will be important to her!

Hi everyone. :) I am trying to find a letter written for the girls coming into beehives. I think it was written by Elaine Dalton. It explained the program a bit, explained that it is ok to be nervous...ect. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and where I can find it? Thanks!!
