Description

This handout was submitted by G. Carmichael, a personal progress leader in the UK. This handout is meant to accompany the Knowledge Value Experience Number 3, but would be appropriate for many lessons on music.

The handout has a colorful musical note border with a quote from Boyd K. Packer that reads: "You are... a daughter of Almighty God. He has inspired a world full of wonderful things to learn and to do, uplifting music of many kinds that you may enjoy" (Boyd K. Packer, Ensign, Jan. 1974, 25, 28).

Personal Progress Value Experience: Knowledge 3

    "Memorize two of your favorite hymns from the hymnbook. Learn the correct conducting pattern for the hymns, and then conduct them at a family home evening, in a Young Women or other Church meeting, or at seminary. Read the scriptures listed at the bottom of each hymn." (Young Women Personal Progress, Young Women Value Experiences and Projects, Knowledge, page 34)
