Share Your Light

In a darkened room, light one of the candles with the match or lighter and explain that this candle can represent anyone. Use the lit candle to the light the other candle(s) and explain that when we share our testimonies of the Gospel (the Love of God, or the Light of Christ), our light does not diminish, but rather both candles glow brightly. Notice, also, that the more candles are lit, the more light is in the room. (You can also wet the wick of one candle with water before-hand and demonstrate that when you try to share your light with someone who is unwilling to listen, their candle may not light, but yours will not go out.)

Good reminder -- when you have this event, it will need to be done outside or somewhere that lighting a candle is okay (and well supervised).
