Scripture
"Sacred ordinances and covenants available in holy temples make it possible for individuals to return to the presence of God and for families to be united eternally." ("The Family: A Proclamation to the World," paragraph 3).
Jenny's Tips
This month's scripture is from The Family: A Proclamation to the World. I wish we'd vote in Conference to canonize this wonderful document.
Don't forget the Yearly Challenge: Remember to give children opportunities to share what they are learning from their scripture reading (see January, week 2).
The third week of this month talks about Pioneers. If you're planning a Primary Quarterly Activity this month, here are lots of Pioneer day activities and ideas.

#1 I love the song, "I Love to
I love the song, "I Love to See the Temple" and because it seems like a "staple" song in the LDS church, it's sung quite often in Primary. The problem is the children sometimes mix up the words from the 1st verse with the 2nd. I have devised an idea. I show them a picture of a TEMPLE and I also have a picture of a CHILD & FAMILY. Then I remind the children that the first verse is all about the BUILDING/the TEMPLE, ITSELF....the 2nd verse is about WHAT WE DO INSIDE (the child/family) I hope this helps. :)
