Jenny's Tips
May 15, 1829, is the date the Aaronic Priesthood was restored. Most units have some sort of Priesthood Commemoration activity during this month to celebrate this great event. Be sure to emphasize these activities to the children in your Primary to help them . Encourage them to talk about the events of the restoration with their families.
Hooray! I'm so glad that someone at Church Headquarters chose this Primary theme according to the events relating to this month! I hope they do this again every year. Many families hold regular times of remembrance that go along with historic events and holidays. The Primary Board can really help support families by choosing themes that correspond with calendar events, holidays, and seasons. I hope they do more of it!
