There is a poem titled "The
There is a poem titled "The Man in the Glass," author unknown. There are five stanzas. Here are the first and the last:
When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to a mirror and look at yourself
And see what THAT man has to say.........
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of years
And get pats on the back as you pass
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the man in the glass.
If you want the rest of it, let me know and I'll type the rest.

I could not find where to
I could not find where to post this question but decided that I would start here. I have been asked to fill a handcart with the supplies that a family would have had to take with them. I know that they took some food, but there was a wagon that was ox pulled that carried the supplies for each 100 people and that they had tents that had 20 people assigned to sleep in them. Did they replenish their supplies from the wagon, did they pool their cooking supplies? Aside from bedding, clothing and the utilities they would need to setup housekeeping where they were going, what did they carry on the handcarts? Oh and I do know that each person (5 to a handcart) could have 17# of clothing and bedding. Thanks for help in advance.

I am the new RS secretary in
I am the new RS secretary in our ward and I am also new to the ward. I would like to put together a packet for Laurels who graduate and are new to RS so they feel welcome. My daughter suggested having a secret buddy to send notes and little treats for the first 6 months and then have a little party at the end...any other ideas?
