Comb your hair

Have students comb their hair, with the stipulation that they cannot bend their elbows. This is quite a hilarious sight to see them trying to comb hair with straight arms. Its basically impossible unless the person has very long hair and can bend over very far. Then give the same comb to a neighbor and again with only straight arms, have the neighbor comb the hair.

Temple Work

Teach that we need each other to accomplish temple goals.

team work

It is better to work together than try and do it yourself or be selfish and desire the candy and the pride from winning.

Enduring together

Tell the story of "The March of the Penguins" Talk about how the penguins had to endure together through the worst conditions in order to live.

Communication

This will help the girls think about how they can communicate clearly.

Coming Closer Together

Teaches that as individuals move closer to the Savior, they also grow closer to each other. A good unity lesson.

Team work does make a difference

This shows that when one is trying to do all the work it won't happen. They need the help of everyone to pull their weight and to help so the job can get done. Or in a family situation if everyone isn't trying then the family can't be strong, it needs everyone's help.

Unity

When we stand alone we are weak, when we are unified, we are strong!

Family Unity

The point is that had they worked together and cooperated to go to one candy bar at a time, taking turns (been unified) they both could have gotten their reward.

Knit Together

Demonstrate how different colors of yarn, when knit together by skilled and loving hands, become stronger and useful.
